End Of Spring

Outside, the sunshine wept, falling as a rain of tears on to the Cubbon Park. The leaves and flowers shed their colors, mourning the moment. In the gardner’s embrace the murraya was losing its glow. Numbed mind begged for God’s Mercy as the eyes bade him final farewell. Her soft petals silently mourned the eternal passing of spring as gently, her eyes closed. The garden slowly withered. The season was over – snatched by fate’s mysterious hands. Forever.
When even Angels cry. Why cannot I?
